The Annual Marc Hovingh Memorial Spiel is hosted in  Little Current and is in honour of Marc's service and sacrifice. 

This event was created to bring together members of policing and the communities they serve to come together in sport, and to raise funds in the memory of Marc for local community-based charities.

1st Annual Mark Hovingh Memorial Spiel

On December 9th to 11th, 2022 the Little Current Curling Club hosted the 1st Annual Marc Hovingh Memorial Spiel in honour of Marc's service and sacrifice. 

This event was created to bring together members of policing and the communities they serve to come together in sport, and to raise funds in the memory of Marc for local community-based charities.

The event was well attended, with 12 teams and many friends and family.  The event also raised upwards of $10,000 for local community-based charities.
